Objects of the Association:

Advocate on behalf of the interests of residents and ratepayers.

Facilitate and promote consultation, participation and co-operation between ratepayers,residents and government authorities (state and local) and other stakeholders.

Represent member residents and ratepayers to government and other stakeholders and,

Review Local Government Authority decisions in terms of transparency, accountability, and statutory requirements under relevant legislation
WARRA intends to facilitate and promote community consultation, participation and co-operation between ratepayers and residents and Local Government Authorities so as to ensure full compliance by the Local Government Authorities and Elected Members with the Local Government Act, Planning provisions and associated requirements and ensure transparency and accountability by Local Government Authorities and Elected Members
